You know, some people purposefully disregard the fact that others are already involved in a relationship and still persist to behave and conduct themselves towards them like they’re single. They have no respect for the relationship and they don’t think about the consequences of their actions. Selfish fuckers.
But it isn’t even about them. It’s about the person you’re involved with and how they choose to handle it. Others aren’t required to respect your relationship. They have nothing to do with it, so why give respect to something that isn’t significant to you as an individual? The person that should be respecting the relationship is YOUR SIGNIFICANT OTHER because it’s not only YOUR relationship but also THEIRS. So by disrespecting the relationship, in a sense, they’re not only disrespecting you but disrespecting themselves too. I kid you not, it’s the concept of every man for himself with these people. They want what they want and don’t care who gets hurt in the pursuit of attaining it.
Point blank— Homewreckers are gonna do what they’re known for- homewreck. But they wouldn’t be able to homewreck if your significant other handled that shit. So if the homewrecker succeeds, who’s really at fault, the person who really doesn’t have anything to do with the relationship or the person who’s actually in it themselves?
